Students should arrive 10 minutes before their individual exam time to allow time to settle, warm up and prepare calmly.
👕 What to Wear
Please ensure students are dressed neatly and appropriately for their exam. Smart, comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement is ideal.
Our students have been preparing with great focus and enthusiasm, developing skills in voice, acting, interpretation and presentation. We are incredibly proud of everyone taking part and wish them the very best of luck for a rewarding and confidence-boosting exam day.

Step into the world of imagination at Rowan Brae’s Creative Adventures!
On Friday, 28th November, all parents are invited to join us from 8:15 AM to 8:45 AM to watch our young learners bring their creativity to life.
From colourful crafts to imaginative storytelling, the children will share the exciting projects and skills they’ve been exploring this term.
It’s a heartwarming and inspiring showcase of curiosity, creativity, and fun – a celebration you won’t want to miss!
Winter Term LAMDA
Students will take part in accredited LAMDA exams in Acting, Musical Theatre, and Verse & Prose. These exams assess communication skills, performance technique, and confidence. Children are entered based on club attendance and readiness. Parents will receive individual exam times in advance.
Note: These exams are professionally moderated and can contribute to UCAS points at higher levels.

Charity Popcorn Sing-Along: Wicked the Musical!
Get ready for a Singalong Spectacular! Join us for a magical evening of musical theatre on the big screen at one of our cosy local venues in Surrey. We’ll be revealing the mystery musical very soon – and yes, you’ll be singing along with all your favourite show tunes!

20th - 31st October: Weston Green, Hinchley Wood, Shrewsbury House, Thames Ditton Junior School, Rowan Brae/Hill.
Musical Theatre Trip
For LDVH pupils and Year 6 pupils from LDSM
Evening trip to a West End musical, including early dinner and 7:30pm show.
Meeting at Surbiton Station.
Cost approx. £65.
Parents welcome – two volunteers needed.
Please confirm interest with Kelly Hart by 16th June.
Trip led by staff with First Aid and Safeguarding training.

Rowan Brae and Hill Pupils only
The Autumn Term clubs at Rowan Brae and Hill School will begin on Monday, 8th September 2025, with six sessions taking place before the half-term break, which runs from Monday, 20th October to Friday, 31st October. Clubs will resume after half-term and continue until Friday, 5th December 2025.
Shrewsbury House School Pupils only
Shrewsbury House School’s autumn term will run from 8th September to 4th December, with a half-term break from 20th October to 31st October.
Thames Ditton Junior School Pupils only
Thames Ditton Junior School’s autumn term will run from Monday, 8th September 2025 to Friday, 12th December 2025. Please note that there will be a two-week half-term break from Monday, 20th October to Friday, 31st October 2025, during which the school will be closed.
