Winter Term LAMDA
Students will take part in accredited LAMDA exams in Acting, Musical Theatre, and Verse & Prose. These exams assess communication skills, performance technique, and confidence. Children are entered based on club attendance and readiness. Parents will receive individual exam times in advance.
Note: These exams are professionally moderated and can contribute to UCAS points at higher levels.

Musical Theatre Trip
For LDVH pupils and Year 6 pupils from LDSM
Evening trip to a West End musical, including early dinner and 7:30pm show.
Meeting at Surbiton Station.
Cost approx. £65.
Parents welcome – two volunteers needed.
Please confirm interest with Kelly Hart by 16th June.
Trip led by staff with First Aid and Safeguarding training.

Rowan Brae and Hill Pupils only
The Autumn Term clubs at Rowan Brae and Hill School will begin on Monday, 8th September 2025, with six sessions taking place before the half-term break, which runs from Monday, 20th October to Friday, 31st October. Clubs will resume after half-term and continue until Friday, 5th December 2025.
Shrewsbury House School Pupils only
Shrewsbury House School’s autumn term will run from 8th September to 4th December, with a half-term break from 20th October to 31st October.
Thames Ditton Junior School Pupils only
Thames Ditton Junior School’s autumn term will run from Monday, 8th September 2025 to Friday, 12th December 2025. Please note that there will be a two-week half-term break from Monday, 20th October to Friday, 31st October 2025, during which the school will be closed.
Instrumental lessons
Instrumental Lessons – Start Date & End Date
We’re excited to let you know that all instrumental lessons will begin on Monday, 8th September.
Please ensure your child brings their instrument and any relevant music books with them on the day.
All instrumental lessons for this term will officially come to an end on Friday, the 12th of December
Thames Ditton Infant School Pupils only
Clubs at Thames Ditton Infant School will run from 8th September to 15th December. Please note that there will be no clubs on the 23rd and 24th of October due to INSET days, and no clubs during half term (27th–31st October).
Cranmere School Pupils only
Cranmere School will begin the autumn term on Monday 8th September and finish on Friday 12th December. Please note that the school will be closed for an inset day on Friday 24th October, and half term runs from Monday 27th October to Friday 31st October, with students returning to school on Monday 3rd November.
Hinchley Wood School Pupils only
Hinchley Wood School will begin the autumn term on Monday 8th September and finish on Monday 8th December. Please note that the school will be closed for an inset day on Friday 28th November, and half term runs from Monday 20th October to Friday 31st October, with students returning to school on Monday 3rd November.
Weston Green School Pupils only
The autumn term at Weston Green will run from Monday 8th September to Friday 5th December. Please note that there will be a half-term break from Monday 20th October to Friday 31st October, during which no clubs will take place. All clubs will resume as normal after the break and continue through to the end of term.
Long Ditton St Mary’s Rock Concert
A morning performance by our talented rock musicians. Students will share their progress through a short, high-energy concert of modern songs, classic rock, and original compositions.
Weston Green School Rock Concert
Our Rock Bands will perform a live concert featuring group and solo work developed over the term. Students will showcase their skills in vocals, guitar, drums, keys, and ensemble performance. Family and friends are welcome to attend and support the young musicians.
Thames Ditton Infant School Fair Performance
A fun community event! Selected clubs will perform choreographed routines on the main stage. It’s a great chance for children to perform in front of a large audience, gain confidence, and showcase their talents.
Weston Green Fair Performance
This lively outdoor school fair features a short showcase from our youngest dancers in MiniBallet and Ballet Boppers, sharing what they’ve been learning in class. The StreetDance team will also teach a simple, fun dance routine to the audience—encouraging everyone to join in!
