How to write a treble and bass clef

What is a treble and bass clef?

Well, a treble clef is a symbol that we see at the start of a piece of music. Treble means high so treble clef means high sounding instruments such as the violin, flute, recorder etc. It can also be used for high voices or the right hand for the piano.

The bass clef is for the lower sounding instruments like cello, lower voice, bassoon and the left hand of the piano. Bass means low.

Have a go at drawing these clef's. Add colour, glitter, paint or anything you think would look good for your drawing.
