New Workshops for 4-6 and 7-11 year olds

Scales & Tales Music & Drama workshops for 4-6 years will now be on a Thursday at 3.45pm to 4.30pm, with the same arrangement that you can drop your child off from 3.30pm for their snack. Next term I would like to put a 'Christmas Show on, which will be so exciting. The show will involve plenty of singing, choreography, instruments, movement and acting.

I am opening a second club which will be from September on Thursday at 4.45 to 5.30pm for 7 to 11 year olds. This will be a LAMDA Musical Theatre and acting class. The children will have the option to take their musical theatre or acting group exams later on in the year. LAMDA is an established drama school company that have been offering a different variety of performance exams for many years. The exam marks also are highly recognised in drama schools, colleges and theatres. The points you gain for the exams go towards you UCAS points for university. Please look at https://www.lamda.org.uk/our-exams for more details. I have personally been teaching LAMDA to schools for over ten years with a 100% pass rate for exams from Grade 1 to 8.

Both the clubs take place at Long Ditton Village Hall in Long Ditton.

At the moment we have a fantastic number of children for the 4-6 year old club. The two clubs in September are very specialised and unique because they are smaller classes and are run by an experienced music and drama coach. The children get a more personalised approach and every child's performance needs and talents can be nurtured. Also, being in a smaller group, the children help each other and support each other, especially if a child might be a little shy on stage.

£7 per session for the 4-6 year old class.

£8 per session for the 7-11 year old class.
