 What does ScalesAndTales have to offer? 

ScalesAndTales aims to provide quality specialist music, dance  and drama teaching through its unique musicianship and performing arts workshops, as well as offering private instrumental, vocal and LAMDA tuition in the local area.

Learning music, dance and drama is an important aspect of a well-rounded education. Research has proven the benefits of learning music and drama has enhanced pupils academic achievement. Pupils are more in touch with their emotions, and their confidence increases when performing and public speaking.

                                    Kelly Hart has lived in the local area of Thames Ditton in Surrey for most of her life. She started learning                                                the piano on an old family upright and always enjoyed performing songs and creating compositions. 

                                    In her early twenties she established herself as a professional musician, playing as a cocktail pianist/singer at a                                        number of prestigious venues including the famous 'Savoy Hotel' on The Strand, London.  

                                    

 

Kelly has taught music and drama for over twenty years and worked in a number of successful independent prep schools,                    senior schools and performing arts companies. Her pupils have received music and drama scholarships to RGS, Guildford High, Kings College Wimbledon, Arts Educational, Sir William Perkins and many more. 

 

Kelly now wishes to continue her journey and has utilised her extensive knowledge, expertise and passion to create 'ScalesAndTales',

a performing arts educational company for all ages.

Providing quality teaching for every pupil is paramount at ScalesandTales but also supplying support, care, good fees, communication and safe educational settings for our teachers is just as important. At ScalesandTales we pride ourselves on our caring and open and honest approach for pupils and teachers.
